GABRIEL’S KEY EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Gabriel’s Key is a Georgia non-profit corporation founded on October 9, 2007.  Judith C. Jones is the Founder and CEO and Robert Dean Langdon is the President of Gabriel's Key.

Gabriel’s Key will incorporate the latest innovations in the medical, integrative, nutrition, and rehabilitation technologies. The plan of care for each individual child will be decided by the combined consensus of both the medical and rehabilitative/therapy teams at Gabriel's Key. Parents and their special needs child will be exposed to all possible avenues of developing recoveries in one place.  As the project develops; by inviting dignitaries and medical personnel to visit, they will be able to observe the remarkable results being achieved at Gabriel’s Key in striving to recover the Autistic, Down's Syndrome and neurologically challenged child.

Our logo is the DNA strain, which is the key to the chromosomes in our body.  The chromosomes are the key to who we become.  We are hoping to become the key to unlocking the secret to making sick children well, making broken families, whole.  Gabriel’s horn will sound the coming of the resurrection where we will be called forth – perfect. That which was lost, will be made whole. Hence, our name is Gabriel’s Key, unlocking our children’s future.

This is a place created for special needs children and their families where they can come and enjoy a life filled with music, light, laughter and where they could try to become free from pain.  Gabriel’s Key is such a place.  Children will come from all over the world to find the techniques to loose the bonds of slavery of their disability with the latest ideas in recovery, nutrition and rehabilitation, not only for themselves but to free their families from bondage.  This dream, this hope will be realized even more than anyone could have ever imagined.

Adult Campus
Adult Campus

Gabriel’s Key will be built in two (2) parts in Georgia.  The  Children’s Campus will be developed on approximately two hundred (200) acres and the Adult Retirement Campus will be developed on another two hundred (200) acres.   The back of both properties will connect and be accessible by a monorail system with a roadway underneath for security to navigate.

Our latest exciting news is that we are adding an additional 200 acres for our hippotherapy area. This increases the size of the project to 600 acres in total.

The long-term objective for Gabriel’s Key is to become the leader, the vanguard in the new millennium in striving to recover the Autistic, Down's Syndrome and neurologically challenged child.  Gabriel’s Key intends to set the bar high, higher than it has ever been set before – to strive for recovery, outreach and education globally and to perform research for these children and their families.

The short-term objective is to awaken the medical community and the world at large to the fact that more can be done for these children and their families and they can have a bright and shining future filled with hope and wonder and accomplishments.  With God’s guidance and His help, these children will no longer be the forgotten ones, the ignored ones or the ones where the unscrupulous have profited from their tragedy.  These children could one day be as they were meant to be and their families will know such joy.

FAMILY CAMPUS

Family Campus

There will be four (4) apartment buildings, four (4) stories high that will comprise the living compound around a central water feature.

There will be three (3) floors about the main ground floor each having one hundred and thirty-three (133) apartments.  Each building will house four hundred (400) special needs children and their families.  On the Family Campus there will be four (4) apartment buildings, which will give Gabriel’s Key a minimum of sixteen hundred (1,600) children that can live on the campus area, receive therapy, education, day care, and even be involved in industry for six (6) to twelve (12) months depending upon the ability level of the needs of the child.

MEDICAL/INTEGRATIVE/THERAPY

Besides a Data Accumulation Center, there will be a compilation of modalities both medical, integrative and rehabilitation/therapy to aid the special needs child.  They will include such therapies as:  hyperbarics, hydrotherapy, watsu, Hippotherapy, anodyne, Chelation, chiropractic, IV therapy, reflexology, brain mapping, reiki, qi gong, audio and speech therapy and visual to name a few.  The medical and rehabilitation/therapy teams at Gabriel’s Key will decide these therapies for each child.

We are constructing a physicians building and three (3) rehabilitation and therapy centers.  There will be two (2) additional rehabilitation and therapy centers for those special needs children who do not live on the Family Campus.

Most parents of special needs children ask three things:  how can you help my child, how can you help me and what will happen to my child when I pass away.  Gabriel’s Key is also building an Adult Complex (much like the Family Campus) to handle the adult special needs person who has autism, Down’s syndrome or other neurological challenges.

SCHOOLS AND SOCIAL LIFE

There will be an elementary, jr. high and high school.  The children will have different sports to choose from:  softball, basketball, track, tennis, cheerleading and gymnastics to name a few.

The social side will not be neglected either.  There will be a Special Events building where the special needs child can explore such activities as music, voice, drama and dance.  There will be closed circuit TV and radio for the budding producer and an area to produce publications.  The siblings of the special needs child will not be forgotten.  On the top floor of the building will be an area where they can listen to their music and be able to study in private.  The too can explore their creative side with closed circuit TV and radio.  On the main floor, the entire family can attend stage plays and see G and PG rated movies.

Gabriel’s Key will also have a restaurant called the Celebration Center where families can “go out to eat” or to celebrate a special event.
